It’s hard to ignore that Colorado’s startup ecosystem is rapidly growing. This year alone, the state has beefed up its roster of tech unicorns and solidified its reputation as a place that Bay Area giants put down roots.
While it’s been a banner year for some of Colorado’s bigger startups, we’re keeping our eye on the next-generation of local stars in our annual Startups to Watch feature.
As 2019 comes to a close, we want to look ahead to next year by compiling the 20 Colorado Startups to Watch in 2020.
In our second annual list, we think the 20 startups below will make headlines in 2020, whether that means huge funding rounds, acquisition or new products that will shake up their respective industries.
We didn’t do it all on our own though.
We leaned on suggestions from some industry experts, VCs, accelerators and others, along with our own internal reporting. This list covers startups from a range of industries, with varying levels of funding, from across the state.
A look back at last year’s list will reveal that we were ahead of the game on Wurk, which announced an $11 million raise in February, Parsyl, which closed a $15 million round in July, and Shotzr, which landed $3 million in March.
Now without further ado, let’s check out the 20 to Watch in 2020 by clicking on each company’s logo.
